We recently began working on identifying our letters. Some things we did were make "A" out of play dough, identify the letter A in magazines and cut them out, read stories focusing on letters, watch youtube videos on the alphabet. We also used the environment as our classroom. When outside I point out the focus letter on signs, and objects in our environment. Now my booba does this on her own. She will point the a letter say it and then say the sound it makes.
